A few shows from a drive this weekend, need to make the time to edit some more In the second shot you can see how the middle carbon style section of the sideskirt almost looks silver in certain lighting, it's pretty dynamic depending how the light hits it.

Loving the rear as well. My only feedback would be to drop the exhaust a tad so that it doesn't hug the bumper as much. But man! Looks so good

Got some more parts! Huge update!!!... JK. New stereo knobs (2x 65129185188) and the trunk stoppers for the hard top retrofit (2x 51248230139) EDIT: hard top retrofit (2x 51248230139) IS THE WRONG PART NUMBER! IF YOU ARE READING THIS FOR REFERENCE, DO NOT ORDER THIS PART NUMBER IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR THE WASHERS TO STOP THE TRUNK FROM OPENING TOO FAR. THIS IS THE PART NUMBER FOR THE WRONG TRUNK STOPPERS!

Found out I got the wrong trunk stoppers, need to figure out if the correct ones exist in an updated part number. Please LMK if anyone has any ideas here! Correct, yet discontinued, PN is 51240309364.
Pretty excited to be dropping my car off tomorrow for rod bearings. After that if you need to find me, I'll be at the track! Anyways, I'll add a pic so at least there's something to look at from this small update.

LOL thanks Vanne. Sigh, I know, I just couldn't hit the deadline. That pic is actually from a canyon drive from today. I should have just sent a couple I had from before but I'm a bit too much a perfectionist when it comes to that stuff. Your entries are awesome by the way, very cool bridge(?)! Your car better make it in, you've got my vote

Purchased Recaro SPGs! However, the seller failed to mention the inserts were ripped out/missing threads, and I failed to see this during inspection. Will be fixing ASAP and installing! Detailed thread here -> http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?p=19153721
My rod bearings have been replaced with WPC treated bearings and I've finally got an alignment! Aligned to F:-1.9 & R:-2.1 w/o camber plates. More on this in my thread here -> http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?p=19155190 Rang in the new year right with some fun driving on some great roads in Malibu with some good friend of mine. That integra is a sleeper, built to rev to 9100 rpm and makes 220 hp to the hubs and weighs only 2500-2600lbs! My friend's LSB e46 M3 was also glorious to look at, cannot get over that color. I also got my custom license plate in but I'll have to post another update on that later

That last shot would have been really cool if the shutter was set a little longer. M3 looks really nice as well

How did you get the fronts to -1.9 without camber plates?

Just found this thread, those wheels look awesome! Look much bigger than 18's, I hope I can buy these in Europe!
I love the idea of fitting super-light Apex wheels, but the looks just don't do it for me, these seem a great compromise between lokos and saving some weight over the OEM 224's. Are you running spacers? |

After investigating more, looks like I'll need to import
However, read some bad reviews from a previous 1 series group buy on the paint quality after just 3 months, how have yours stood up?? |

Low enough ride height allowed for this much in the front. This is another way to gain negative camber up front sans camber plates -> http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=422123

VMR does have Euro distribution, try search VMR Europe in google and it should pull it up. Before giving my $.02 keep in mind it's just based on my personal experience with VMR wheels on my car(s). I can't really speak for others, just what I've seen firsthand. Regarding finish quality, I haven't had any issues running VMRs on my F30, Z4, or now X1. VMR offers a 1 year finish warranty so it's not something I've concerned myself with. The current set I have is custom refinished so can't be compared to the factory finish, but the factory finish on my daily driven VMRs held up well. I've even got one buddy who flogs his car on the track on VMRs (often spinning off track into the dirt), and his are fine. Apex wheels are cool too, though. Their branding is very focused and they seem knowledgeable. I know the ARC-8 is a tad lighter, but the V810 are virtually the same/very close to the EC-7 & PS-7 in weight so I went with V810 and haven't looked back. Realistically I think any flow formed option is a great upgrade, be it VMR, Apex, HRE, or BBS. I think I saw a set of V810 for sale in the classifieds, that may be worth looking into

Thanks for you reply. I was worried by your comments, but only just noticed you're running 9.5 and 10" rims It does look awesome, but probably a bit extreme for my setup and use. I'd just be going for 8.5 ET35 and 9.5 ET25, so is pretty much spot on my current OEM setup with 12mm and 10mm spacers and 235\40 and 265\35 tyres. The guy who had problems were on a 1 series forum and all V710's, so hopefully just a dodgy batch. I've contacted vmrwheels.eu to see what they can do. Fingers crossed, such gorgeous wheels! Also sent a PM to the person selling their set, suspect postage will be cost prohibitive, but lets see. Graeme |

The EVOLVE-R stage 2 tune went in earlier this week. After around 300 miles of adapting to the tune, I can't say I'm impressed. Right now the power delivery feels jerky compared to stock. I'll be dyno'ing soon though, so the actual power band will be clear. Will post up the results when done, though I feel I may have to contact Evolve with the details when done. I haven't dyno'd with stock tune yet but I'll be dyno'ing with the Evolve tune and if things look questionable, flahsing to my stock tune, driving another few hundred miles, then dyno'ing on stock tune. This way, I'll isolate the exact effect the tune is having on my power delivery/performance.
Also, to keep this update somewhat interesting, I've been contemplating what finish is next for the V810's (ZPost, persecute me now for the bright colored wheels )
