So, they would rub against the oem suspension as well, correct? Considering that the geometry of most suspensions leads to negative camber when compressing/hitting bumps?

It actually just barely touched one of the adjustment perches of the AST coilover. The stock spring perch doesn't go that low so it should fit fine. It wouldn't have touched at all if I didn't run 2.5 degrees of camber with shims. Even with that much camber it only took a 3mm spacer to fix it.
