a few pics
A good friend of my brother is a semi pro photographer, and has no experience in shooting autos ............... so we got together to take some shots of the roadster. I'm linking him to all the car photography eye candy I know of, to help him get some perspective of what pics by experienced photographers who shoot cars look like. We had fun

Thanks! No, someone went to great lengths to outfit this building as an old fashioned gas station, but it is not operational. We actually have old, non operational stations like this that used to be the real deal all over the south, if you get away from the metro areas and out on the rural back roads.

For a fellow with limited or no experience photographing cars, your friend is certainly off to a great start! Fabulous photos!!!

Thanks guys, you're too kind I love that old gas station also, really cool building. You can't see this from the pics, but the left side of the building is also covered in old weathered/rusted signage. We were going to shoot some pics with the car against that wall as well. The station is to the right of another business, and when I backed my car up against the side of the station to position it for the pics, the alarm on the business to the left went crazy........ loud sirens and a recorded voice that we were trespassing (we were not on the adjacent property actually), and that the police were on the way. We decided to move the shoot to the other location at that point |

Great shots! You should have kept one in reserve and submitted it to the POTM! Still could, even from these shots. They're good.
