I just purchased 2003 Z4 and the key fob will not unlock doors with remote. I can lock doors and unlock trunk but not unlock the doors. I purchased from private seller (1 owner car in which the owner had died so family sold). A new battery had been installed before I purchased vehicle so I wonder if that may be part of the problem. Do I have to go to a dealer (stealer) to have key programmed? Thanks for your help and this wonderful forum. I can already see that reading this forum is going to cost me some bucks. (Re: getting rid of RF tires etc.)
