Dinan High Flow carbon Fiber Intake Question

Does anyone with the Dinan High Flow Carbon intake have a different noise under the hood upon acceleration vs stock. It almost sounds like a subtle gurgling sound when I get on it? I was told by the dealer to expect an air noise?'Any input would be appreciated.

Should be a noticeably different noise than stock, yes. As for gurgling -- don't know about that...

hmmm... haven't heard that associated with the Dinan intake (or any other). Doesn't sound right.

Someone with the Dinan M3 intake should chime in.

I have the intake but I don't really notice any noise but I associate this with the sound of the Innotech.

Looks good with the IND engine package though. I'm sure on a stock car would have a little more intake noise but not much since its just the filter and charge tube over a whole system like the Gruppe M or Technocraft

I have loads of Dinan mods and I don't hear what you describe. Check to make sure your airbox is closed and your intake is installed correctly................Phil

It's pretty similar to installing an aftermarket air filter.
you can hear differences (from stock filter) but not much different from 70-100 dollar air filter upgrade.

I can definitely hear the sound of it sucking air in, especially when cold. The "gurgling" sound is not something I have heard with mine.
