I don't know. They think that their free microfiber towel is worth 5.99...I wonder how much they jacked up the price of their product.

I would be hesitant to use this product...It might add a coating to protect your paint, but what happens when this coating starts coming off? Does it peal off? Does it fade? Does it become translucent? Who knows?

At least with wax, you know it won't look like crap when it starts to go away.

It's no different than other products out there like Zano.

They use the term "coating" a little too liberally, more like a "coating" of wax or other sealants.....

Cool

Am with all above. Surely not against new products but this type of product just might be great. Can't imagine AGeek not testing it, but then again, this product might be so tightly bonded on much of the surface, that when its time worn or "coming off" it will be hard to get down to the paint itself. I'm in the camp of clay and proper carnubas and hey, doing it all over again. Then again if it was on a car I did not care about, living w/o a garage in an idustrial fall out area of horrible wastes, then I might try it.

Is a permanent (yes permanent) coating. I have researched both these products extensively. I plan only on using the Opti Coat on my headlights and wheels, as its strong point is durability - but some say it doesn't bead water or shine like Carnuaba. Also, it has a clean feeling to the touch (like clean glass) - not a slick feeling like wax. However, it works wonders on wheels and makes cleaning them so much easier. Heat just makes it stronger - so it's great on wheels.

Swanicyouth, let us know how it goes... may be we should use it for bumpers and wheels only?

I've been using their Iron.X product in soap and spray formula for years, their products are pretty top notch. I've been researching this stuff for a while and most folks do want to use some Iron.X, clay, polish to get the base as clear and glossy as possible before applying this stuff and like it says, very thin and even.

This is a pretty nice review, although the paint on each car is dramatically different:
