Almost Spring - What's Everyone Doing to their Z?

Went to visit the car this weekend - still being housed at my father's garage. Needed a charge so I grab a few shots while I was waiting. Like my awesome tool cart from my folks old grill? LOL

Almost time for it to come out any play again. What is every else up to in prep for spring?

Good question, mine is still under covers. I was going to post a question on what a person who has stored a car for 6 months should do or look out for after hibernation. I know I will be doing an oil change...but anything else?

How do you like the AA tune? Was it done locally? Any noticeable gains?

My main plan for spring is to sell off most of my mods (headers, SS section 1, BMS cans, CSL reps) that have been sitting in the garage for the past year or more. The proceeds will all go toward the parts fund for my newly acquired P-car Will probably have the front bumper cover repainted as well and may treat her to a full detail.

I will. I don't want to advertise until I have everything boxed up and ready to go, that way nobody has to wait while I get it together. Hopefully this week will be warm enough to get out to the garage and do some work.

2006 Z4 M Coupe  [8.00]
I have all this laying in my basement waiting for install:

-Eurocharged tuned ecu (will do a write-up after install and if i get a chance to dyno, they are mainly a MB tuner but the owner had the s54 engine and made a private tune for himself that he sold to me (claims to gain 18-24hp))

- RPI cans

- RPI Scoop + BMC filter

- APR front splitter

- gray-scale matte black M Badges

- Zeckhausen racing CDV

- Tekarbon CF Spoiler

-Tekarbon CF Mirrors (awaiting arrival still)

so all in all it was a pretty successful winter of gathering items :P

I hope to do at least the following:

1) Dice i-BMW-T Silverline Pro
2) Full Black grills
3) Alarm Kit
4) Oil change (only 4500 miles total on car...but peace of mind is important)
5) Exterior and interior detail (professionally done - Groupon buy)
6) Buy membership to BMW Club of Saskatchewan
7) Drive this baby a lot!

Any other suggestions folks?

I'd love to be able lower and close the top remotely.... with a factory coding change.

Oh nice, what p-car?

I've been daily driving this the past 6 months - which is a handful in DC traffic and winter (eeek!).

I've also got a porsche 914 project going - swapping a 911 engine into it (3.2L aircooled) - hope it's running soon!
