Headers and RPI exhaust = So SICKK!!

VIDEOS UPLOADED ON PAGE 2
I received my RPI exhaust today in the mail, and went to work on them a couple hours later. Install took about one hour start to finish.
Quality: 10/10
Everything looked great on it. Finish is awesome, materials is awesome, and so is the workmanship.
Fit: 10/10
Everything bolts up very well. I ended up using a combination of stock bolts and two of my own.
Sound:12/10
The sound is epic. I have headers in my car and OMG! The difference this makes is huge! It is definetly loud, no doubt. It definetly resonates inside the cabin. Without a doubt i am sound deadning the trunk. Start up sounds amazing, sounds very exotic. Low rpms it is deep and bassy. This is where it resonates in the cabin, sound deadning should improve this considerably. around 3k rpm it changes tone and sounds incredible i can't describe it. When let of throttle it pops and gurgles.
I will take pictures and post a video in the next week hopefully. MY friend took a video of headers with stock mufflers, so hopefully he still has it. I know this is worthless without pictures or sound clips, but you guys know how it looks like. I will do my best to get videos.

Yes catless headers. they are ebay headers. They have been great for the last 15000 miles

not sure to what extent u're intending to deaden the trunk, but i added one layer each of dynamat extreme and ensolite to only the flat panels in the trunk recess area and right next to the battery hump. has helped reduce the reverberations a great deal.

started sound deadening process today, only worked on it for about one hour before work... i only got to lay two sheets down, will finish tomorrow, but the two sheets alone made a noticable difference. I am using Second Skin Damplifer. I had 80 sq ft lying around so i used that. In the past i researched the the heck out of sound deadning on audio forums, and they all said second skin was the best, and it is well priced.

Sounds like a good idea for a car that 1) not a daily driver and 2) not in a congested area.

I'd never want that loud of a setup in the DC. I get enough headaches from the traffic.

Any sound clips or pictures of the setup? Pictures of the headers you installed?

Sound deadening did a lot. Didnt take out the drone, its still loud, but without all of the rattles. The only thing that rattles now is the change in my ashtray. So no more change in there. The rattles were so annoying i couldnt stand it, honestly it isnt bad at all on cruising speeds. Its really bassey at low rpms and drones a little, but it isnt too bad, once you hit about 3.5 rpm it sounds really mean.

I dont have pictures or clips yet, i did the header install about two years ago and i didnt take any pics when i was installing it. pretty straight forward though. Couple things i reccomend on ebay headers is get longer studs and buy oem gaskets. They give you crappy ones. The flanges are pretty think on the ebay headers, and there is some warpage from improper cooling when the welded that not all flanges sit at the same height. Thats what the longer studs is for. If you didnt have longder studs you would have to use a 2x4 or prybary so you could get a nut on the threads.

do you have a lot of drone with your setup??

I just installed a custom muffler that should be louder than RPi, mated with my SS X-Pipe and my SS Stepped Headers, and I can barely stand the drone... My ears almost started bleeding. Did you dynamat or put any sort of sound deadening material to minimize drone?
