Yes the VT2-500 runs an air/air intercooler
The current VT1-445 kit can be upgraded to a VT2-500 Quote:

ya im serious i had my hopes soo high, they said they made a batch and sold it, then they told me there wernt too many buyers and their original kits were expensive to make so they are looking into precision sc's for "future plans" and told me that they would contact me once its official. anyways, thats the past and im pretty pissed about what happened but can i get official details about the kit or kits plz. and i have heard lots of good things about ESS and the great customer service and communication handled by Roman, maybe just a mistake or misunderstanding that happened to me. So im sold into the vt2 500 kit, guid me to where i can buy one, located in Ottawa, Ontario Canada

Maybe they were talking about the older kits they used to have (CFR-525 or something like that). I believe they used an expensive ASA blower instead of the Vortech. There are plenty of members on this forum that have the Vortech kits and all seem pleased with them.
