Great video. I still think you need a new exhaust to get even more out of that baby
I spoke with Roman and I will send my car there after I'm done with some current mods. most likely in the first week of november. |

Thanks for a great video.
I really enjoyed reading you write up and the format you used. Bad ASS! Great information for the Z4M community.

Very under appreciated and hard to capture is the whine! Not quite as pronounced and deliberate as a turbo. Spontaneous and blends in well with the engine noise. I would like to hear this set up with a race mufler set-up. Too loud for daily driving but it would rock on the track.
Nice job! What can I expect when I get a chance to add the intercooler? I assume it pulls even harder off the line....Did you have a post VT-2 dyno run?

Great video and beautiful install. But, looks like there are damn few roads in Tn that you
can spend some quality time wringing it out. I'd have to suggest a move to the West. Perhaps Nevada, Montana, Utah, not to mention central Oregon...... |

Your going to love it! It has cooled down this morning and the car is loving it. I wouldn't be surprised if I was making an addition 20whp this morning. The timing was definitely not being pulled and I could really feel it want to rev to 10,000

Thanks.... the intercooler is real nice to have to keep power during hard driving. The stock dyno was around 270whp, so it's up 170whp from stock and the torque is maintained to redline at 300+tq. With headers and cool temps. and the pulley I have, I wouldn't be surprised to see 460whp+ I took the car out this morning 70f temps and it was an absolute BEAST!! |

Awesome vids, thanks for this... I am quite jealous.
Between this post, jalopnik's story today on the s54 and the HPF post about their engine builds I have a strong itch to FI my Z4MC now! |

I could hear the wastegates/blow offs, but then again, i was listening for them. Car sounds amazing man! Nice work on the pod in the ashtray. I like that look, but have no use for one myself. haha
Now hit them switches!!!

I'll be down in Santa Rosa in a couple of weeks, then over in Reno. Santa Rosa's traffic
is pretty bad, so nice move over to Incline. I had a great spirited drive against a 328i coming up the back to Incline last year. I couldn't believe how much body roll he exhibited, although he did a good job of keeping up, but I was handicapped with the wife sitting next to me, gggg. Funny thing was at a traffic stop for construction at the top, he came up asked what the "M" meant on the back of my car. |

Thanks guys. Yea, the exhaust and headers are stock. I'm planning on getting some Euro spec headers installed for an additional 15-20whp and it's required for stage 3. The by-pass does make a nice sound during shifts and the raging induction sound as you approach red line is down right mean Even driving around at low speeds..revs, people look at the car like...WTF is under that hood, haaha. It's quite amazing the difference in power during cool mornings. I took the car out the other morning with 70f temps and the main difference is the timing is not pulled at high revs...it just wants to jump to 10,000rpm Really got my attention.

What's the "M"? I fell in love with Incline Village a few years ago and can finally make it my new home...very excited about moving there. I love Lake Tahoe and all the activities available. |
