I got caught
Yes the worst thing possible happend.
And yes it was my stupidity that is fault on it. Sunday i went for a family afternoon and we headed of to the city, there werent many people around so we were fulling a little bit around u know reving on a red light and drift a little bit right and left... as all ZM owners do And then on a red light i played the full once again reving in the middle of big buildings with my RPI exhaust and when i turned left who do i see??? oh yeah the cops pointing at me and asking for me to stop the car on the right, so i did. "Drive licence and car papers please..." oh man i knew i was in trouble and if it wasnt enough i didnt have two papers with me. so they looked at my exhaust, i dont know how it is in your countrys but here in Luxembourg u need something that is called TüV for legalisation and of course RPI doesnt have it. At beginning they werent really happy and told me i need to take it out immediatly and i would have to pay a lot of money thanks to my girlfriend at the end they let me go but told me that they suggest me to take it of because if they stop me once again i wont be so lucky again. So now i have a big problem and dont know if i should take it out or continue.... If someone has a good offer for me we could find an arrangement the exhaust is 2 weeks old... |

No joke they did tell me at the end that the exhaust looked good and told me to try to regulate the exhaust but they doubted that i would pass the test because they said that when i drove slowly by them they allready had the feeling that the exhasut was to loud
The sound really is mindblowing but hey dont rev on the red light or u get stopped oh yeah and dont forget your papers |

When I was stationed in Japan (Okinawa, more specifically) Skylines were like standard issue. And yes, I had one. Anyway, my buddy threw tons of money into his and had it running nice. We were chillin along the seawall one night watching the locals race from street light to street light, a fairly common occurance. Long story shortened, my buddy ran in one of the races and HE got pulled over! We still claim it was due to the 'Y' plates...(Americans have Y's (Yankees, not even kidding) on their license plates instead of the normal character where the driver lives) They ticketed him for having 'too loud pipes'. We laughed...
But they had him get out of the car and stuck this microphone thing behind his exhaust as he revved it up and that little machine went wild, like his car just flat-lined or something. Apparently there's a sound ordinance law there and he more than broke it. Fined him tons of money, the end. The point of telling all of that is this: they sell little mutes, like trumpet players use, that go in your tail pipes and does just that, mutes the sound. He only put them in for daily driving, in fear of what effect on power that could cause, but they're out there. Now I don't know if these are exhaust specific, nor do I know where he bought his, but they're out there. OR, you could you just sell me your exhaust and we'll call it even! JUST KIDDING!!! SO SORRY to hear about your law troubles man. And yes, I agree, the most intriguing part of the story was left out...what did she tell them?!

Haha cops don't joke with noise here in Luxembourg
Since now i've never been pulled over so i think im kinda lucky... The Eisenmann's are pretty loud too but i never fool around at the red lights I think it's just a matter of time till the first cops pull me over ... Better luck at the next red light maybe ? |
