crap.... bent both fronts...
hit a huge dip on a side street where the road had recently been patched.
i hit it straight on... everything seemed OK until this morning... both fronts were flat. was able to fill them and get the car to my tire shop.... i love my VMR 19s... but man are they soft. |

Sorry to hear that!
I have no experience with this but can you file that as a claim against your insurance? What about making the city of boston pay for it since they didn't have any signs indicating construction or dip? (did they?) |

crap... sorry to hear about this.
Boston would go broke if they started paying out for this type of claim. I was through there a few years ago & couldn't believe the number of crappy roads.

You haven't been to St. John's have you? I just totalled my Style 108 rear rim on a concrete curb that the City built into the street. Needless to say, I'll be asking to be reimbursed.

Actually, there are about a dozen Z4's here in town these days, and quite a number of nicely maintained Z3's - two of which are M roadsters. I haven't seen a Z4M here yet though. And No Z4 coupes at all. Cheers!

Yea, but a hre or volk will be tons stronger and much less likely to crack or bend unless it's extreme.

AtoB - sorry I didn't see this thread earlier. But for next time - and we both know there will be a next time - run up to NH wheels in Manchester. They do my rim straightening. $95 per rim & $25 per dismount/mount & balance

They can still be bent on big hits (probably a lot less likely to crack though).
