DME Unlocked ?

Hello I’m new to this and was just wondering if my dme is locked. I just wanna throw a lil stage 1 tune. 2020 BMW 330i

BM3 or MHD will tell you if DME is locked and a bench unlock is required.

Yes, your DME is locked.
The question is what kind of unlock it needs:
- pre 06/2020 DME requires bench unlock, any decent tuning shop should be able to do it
- after 06/2020 DME requires femto or autotuner unlock, you would need to ship DME to them

MHD/BM3 will tell you which type of unlock you need.

So , I have a 2019 M850i coupe.
I have done some mods. Long story short
Got the F+G Super license. Tried to perform stage 1 flash and error message states "ROM Not Supported Contact MHD Support".
Well I did that and I'm being told From MHD That they DO NOT have anything for N63. Now my question is this I have seen many guys tune M550i with N63 motor , not a lot out there for us M850i guy's. Anyone out there with some InSite on where to go from here now that I basically
have a $856 tune I can't do anything with because MHD said they are NOT doing any updates to support my vehicle.

Well...you can not have N63 super license...since it doesnt exist. Likewise for any diesel engine...

If it is a pre 06/2020 DME you can buy a MHD unlocker and a MHD tune/licence and do it all yourself. Or you can find someone on facebook in your area with a MHD unlocker ( there are guys around here doing the unlock for free or a very small fee) and just buy the MHD tune.

I'd hit up MHD for a refund and tell them their compatibility verbiage was confusing. To actually flash your car, go with Bootmod3 (BM3), they fully support the N63 platform. Just remember you'll need a DME bench unlock before you can flash anything.
