I have one of the side skirts. New OEM, with the new seal/clips kit. Can't remember which side. I'll check tomorrow if you want to buy just the one.

Yep, and my rear trunk mat went with my previous car. Oh well! Still not happy about the fake on eBay trying to pass his off as OEM when they're cheap imitations. I hope people don't buy those thinking they're the real deal.
Side note: I ended up buying a carbon rear spoiler from Burkhart Engineering. Having owned both the original BMW spoiler and the Burkhart spoiler, I am 99.999% convinced that Burkhart is the one that made it for BMW. Fit and finish is absolutely perfect, and the only difference seems to be the bottom. Burkhart's current version doesn't have as much of a gap / empty void under the spoiler, which makes it feel more substantial, higher quality and easier to lay onto the surface of the rear hatch. They even sent me a tube of Betalink, like the one that came with the original spoiler - and which I will not be using (3M tape only here). Highly recommended. I think I might have the trunk mat somewhere. Bought 2 back in the day and it just covers the rear flat area. (Doesn't cover the area to the left of the battery like pictured above)
Is that what you're looking for?

Here you go. Burkhart Engineering rear carbon spoiler for the E86:
View post on imgur.comEdit: Pics of the original BMW spoiler are available here, for reference. Note the underside is different. The original BMW spoiler has more of an empty void underneath. Last edited by ried; 06-29-2024 at 02:10 PM.. |
