Turner Monoball FCABs on Z4M
Hi all, I just got done installing turner monoball FCABs (the lollipop bushings) on my z4m coupe. Of course, these reduce caster slightly in exchange for a tighter steering feel. However, I’m noticing some kind of binding noise coming from the passenger side after install and was wondering if anyone else running these have noticed/resolved this problem as well. They otherwise feel great.

Just spitballing here, your wishbones look like they are original so maybe the 2 ball joints are slightly worn out and because the new lollipop bushings aren't offset, they are holding the ball joints in a different position and causing noise.
You did reinstall the reinforcement plate before driving the car right?

The arms are new since a year ago so I’m hoping it’s not the ball joints.
I did reinstall the plate and I suspect the wishbone is possibly colliding with it in some way and I need to realign it |

I played with the idea just to find out that many of the people having them on E46 M3 disliked them due to noises. You will be better off installing stock new ones

Ok I confirmed there is no collision with the plate. It seems like the bushing itself is binding and so I’ve requested a replacement. Will update when I try it on. I’m really hoping these work out

Go with Rouge engineering FCAB, far better and no NVH or other issues. They are very solid pieces .

I just put my OEMs back, much better. Lesson learned, even without the creaking I didn’t like how they felt. The loss of caster made the steering too light and I never felt any more feel
