GM5 repairs unreal good service

I mailed my GM5 module to Mr. Scott Johnson in California last Monday at about 1:00PM from Pennsylvania. On Friday I received the repaired GM5 in the Mail. I reinstalled it on Saturday morning and all of the locks are working again. My wife couldn't believe the speed of the service saying:
"you mailed it on Monday to California for repairs and got it back repaired on Friday, that's unreal".

If you use his service don't forget to put a note in the package telling him the kind and year of the car and the problems your having. I failed to do this because I believed he tied the package you send him for repair with a email you'd send him earlier describing your problems with the GM5. He does NOT retain the email you send him so enclose a note with the problem and year of your car.

He repaired my GM5 a few weeks back - same experience. Top notch guy and leaves us with a few extra bucks in our pockets.

I think my GM5 is starting to become a chronic issue. Second time this year the door locks didn't unlock with the key fob. After pressing the unlock and lock buttons on the fob maybe a dozen times, everything suddenly worked just fine.

This sound like a similar issue to what others have experienced? I'll email the Scott guy and he can vet me again, but I wanted to first get an idea that this is the right path to proceed on.

EDIT- already spoke to Scott, and sounds like I've got a repair candidate

Round trip to/from Scott was about a week for me as well, everything back to functioning well.

Can't recommend him enough for the GM5 repair

Scott did the repair on my GM-5 module. Everything works great now..... It makes the car much easier to use..... Don't delay.... It comes back in a jiffy

They say the car will run with the Gm-5 module out of the car unless you have the SMG transmission. Then the car will not operate without the GM-5 installed. Just FYI
