Great Ocean Road
Just back from three glorious weeks in Australia and cant believe the gorgeous glass smooth roads surrounding the coastal drive south of Melbourne! Hundreds of areas to pull over and revel in the sheer cliffs and incredible ocean views! Driving on the left side of the road was an adventure too- every time i signalled a lane change i put the wipers on by mistake lol. These roads were meant for the M coupe- too bad I was in a Kia "Carnival" van with my wife and another couple and tons of luggage. If this is on your bucket list too- you wont be disappointed! The best sports car country in the world! Just one non M E85 spotted but lots of other BMWs, Holden V8 sedans and wagons and interesting V8 half-truck half-cars reminiscent of the old El Caminos and Rancheros here in North America. Fuel is $1.39/litre and no one seems to care. Cheers!
