Not for every wash. I take it off when doing full detail every 6 months.

Yea no doubt..evidently, I've been doing it the completely wrong way with a bucket, soap, (microfiber) sponge, and garden hose.

Foam cannons are overrated. Simple garden pump sprayer with a pre-wash shampoo in it is sufficient enough.

But doesn't look as good in pics because it lacks all the foam.
