GL hunting. Very rare you will see a V2 pop up. Better chances on finding a V1.

Good luck, but your best bet would be to contact Tischer and get one new, they hardly ever pop up on here for sale used.

That is quite a good price, I would double check it! They haven't made the V-1 since mid 2014! All V-1 should be sold by now.

Yeah im hoping its v2. Price is good for brand new.

That should be a V2 as they stopped making the V1 after people started having problems with cracking. That is a really good price for a brand new muffler, I remember seeing a V2 used for sale here last summer and they wanted $2000 or best offer.

I have emailed GetBMWparts.com asking if their "Genuine BMW E92/93 M3 Coupe/Convertible M Performance Exhaust - Part Number 18-30-2-184-201" is Version# 2....?

i got a response from them today.

"thank you for keeping us in mind – we don’t stock these here but they are available for us to source from BMW in just 2 business days once ordered.

Here’s a link to the product on our site – and shipping would be free on this item within the US via standard ground (UPS) service.

BMW has never officially released a V2 or updated the part # on this kit, nor have they acknowledged an issue with any previous version, so I do not know what would arrive to us here if ordered. We could always open the box and check for you before shipping though. Let me know what you decide to do."

basically what they are saying is: we have to place the order. they receive it, they open the box and check if its v2 they will ship it to me if not, then i can cancel the order.

I had mine replaced under warranty on May 3, 2017 and it was a V-2.

I purchased an E90 MPE from Tisher two months ago, it was a V1. Original plaque with no numbers scratched on, or supports through the canister. They said there had never been a part number change, and it was brand new from BMW. I asked why I was sent a V1, have they gone back to the old design. Two months later BMW said they don't recognise any issue. I suspect they are clearing out old stock before discontinuing. Cant say I'm a happy customer, even though the exhaust sounds great if it cracks after 2 years I have no recourse.

I wouldn't think they would have any E92/93 V-1's left!

Yeh may be different for the E92/93, I imagine they sold a lot more of those. BMW have always been shady on this issue. No problems so far, sounds better all the time, but I only have 1500 miles on it.

just got a response from Tischer... the e90 MPE I ordered is a V1. I cancelled my order.
