I like it. The steering wheel is likely aftermarket, correct?

Interior is gorgeous! interestingly it even has factory High Beam Assistant. I never knew that was even available on the E9X cars.

My car has it. It is not real common, more like on cars where someone had to check every option box.

I believe this is wrapped for anyone who is interested. So you're investing in paint protection as well which isn't bad. Frozen black 2010. Frozen grey 2011. Frozen silver 2012. Frozen White/Blue/Red 2013.

Typo on the year then it is. They didn't make frozen grey in 2013.

Think he meant its wrapped with protection film, not that the color is via a vinyl wrap job.

Odd. Something just doesn't add up. While frozen cars are technically labeled an individual color, one couldn't just call up and order their car to be painted a frozen color. It would dilute the term 'limited run'. BMW NA office is literally 40min from me and I spent a whole day there talking m3's and frozen cars.

I'm not claiming I'm some professional, but again something is just out of the norm here.

BMW allocated a specific amount of cars to be painted frozen black, grey, silver, white, blue and red in their respective years for a reason. e.g. 40 frozen silver in 2012 to pay commemoration to the 40th anniversary of the M division.

So maybe someone had some pull to get this done out of sync?

Thanks for trying to help me save face, but I did indeed mean a vinyl wrap. While it does have the black hood vents and black grilles, the previous owner must have changed the wheels from black to silver and obviously added the front lip and painted the bumper lens'.

It's more of everyone helping solve my confusion than it is who's right or wrong. Basically, some of what I've read/researched and discussed with the specialists at BMW NA (and other dealers too) regarding frozen m3's is wrong if this is indeed a frozen grey. Based on vin it is, but production year it's not. Weird.

As the title says...it is an Individual ordered car...special ordered car, not a standard Frozen car. I am quite sure you can order a 2017 in that combo. if you want to pay big money for it!

No fold down rear seats. That is really weird on a car like this.

That wheel has to go, and that shift boot.

My guess is this is the car, interior looks better here http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=938235

Has to be pretty rare

Not sure how you are determining that! I would say that is the standard e92 rear seat!
