How Low Can You Go?
I just finished installing a new lip on my bumper and now it only clears 2.75" LOL. For reference, I can just barely clear the e9x key fob... What's everyones ride heights? I'm scared to drive mine now, can I even roam around the city without avoiding all speed bumps?

How long do you want it to last? Keep the ride height stock and avoid any big dips or bumps and you might have a chance. Or keep it parked in your garage and dont drive it. You just want it to look cool. It does not actually have to be driveable.

Meh. I've seen and driven lower. Adapt your driving style or buy replacement lips.

If you're using it as a snow plow, I'd say it's not low enough.

I'd say it's roughly the same as yours. I have my driving height to a little lower than OEM (maybe two inches lower all around?)...
I've had no issues with scraping. Then again, I DO have a setting to raise the front up significantly which I've had to use often...hahaha...but, I live on Long Island and our roads suck. I didn't realize you have the 1M bumper and that lip...that will be similar to my set up soon...I like how low it sits. Just a suggestion...maybe you should do air

You should be able to get away with clearance if you're running 19" wheels and up?
I had a lip extension with a 1.0"(F) drop, but on 18" wheels. It was setting at half of the key fob, and ripped to pieces from trying to exit my bank parking lot. Lol, epic fail But good thing that the actual lip didn't take any damage. Just be sure to angle it on all bumps & dips! And you should be fine |
