Suspension Questions
Hello everyone,
Due to the harsh ride of H&R springs on stock struts/shocks, I am either going to ditch them for stock springs OR get proper struts/shocks to accommodate the lowering springs. Question 1: My front springs' part number: 6757781 (31336757781). What would be the matching rear spring part number be? I tried realoem.com but it does not list part numbers for springs. Question 2: If I were to keep my H&R springs, what struts/shocks would you recommend? I would like to keep the harsh ride to a bare minimum. Kills my back lol Help please. Thanks Last edited by SwissArmy; 06-07-2016 at 06:46 AM.. |

Chances are you have blown the stock dampers with those springs.
I can recommend Koni Yellows. Not cheap but IMO the best for lowered suspension.

OE dampers don't last long with aftermarket springs

I did the ol "stock dampers with H&R springs" and I agree not a good setup. Especially since my stock dampers already has 50k miles on them. I'll be replacing my dampers soon with Bilstein HD's. I hear that's a good combination. Coilovers are a bit overkill for me and the H&R's give me the perfect ride height for my taste.
