Replaced My Knobs to Something Shiny and New
So I recently my Sat nav knobs were starting to peel like the steering wheel controls and it was starting to bug me whenever I drove the car. I decided to pick up a set of Navigation/Radio Knobs from a X3 and was able to replace them in place of the stock knobs. Heres how it came out:
New Knob ( Nice and Shiny ) Installed on the deck (sorry don't have the pre installed pic but we all know how ugly the peeling knobs can look): Final Install Pic (Sorry for the crappy iPhone Night Shot): Pretty happy with the way it turned out. Figured I'd share with the rest of the Z community. Everything was pretty much plug and play. Remove the old knobs and push to install the new ones. No modification needed and really gives the car a newer (facelifted) look with the new new shiny look Parts were about $32 shipped for both from GetBMWParts. Enjoy! Oh sweet! I might do this in the future. My brushed aluminum interior would like it.
