Since your system is being built from the headers out, it sounds like you need a tune for this system, yes? Just wondering if the bigger pipes will throw codes for us non-tuned.

The articles that should be available first:
Headers Just Type 1 for now that we call RH1 It will connect to OEM section 1 or to our DKF Section 1
OEM Section 1 becomes in our system divided in 2 individual areas; Aerea 1) S-pipe Area 2) Bypass Area For Area 1 S-pipe what we call SEC1S we will have only one kind of S-pipe that bolt to stock headers or to our DKF headers. For section 1 area 2 you will have many options: 1) Sport Resonator what we call ST2S that connects to DKF S-pipe and OEM Section 2 and they do not include O2 Bungs. 2) Street Resonator what we call ST1L that connects Only to DKF S-pipe and DKF X-pipe and they do not include O2 Bungs. 3) Race Resonator what we call RA1L that connects Only to DKF S-pipe and DKF X-pipe and they do not include O2 Bungs. 4) Bypass Pipe 1 what we call BP1L that connects Only to DKF S-pipe and DKF X-pipe and they include O2 Bungs. 5) Bypass Pipe 2 what we call BP2S that connects to DKF S-pipe and OEM Section 2 and they do include O2 Bungs. 6) Catalytic Converter 100 Cell that we call CTL100 that connects Only to DKF S-pipe and DKF X-pipe and they include O2 Bungs. 7) Catalytic Converter 300 Cell that we call CTS300 that connects to DKF S-pipe and OEM Section 2 and they do include O2 Bungs. Also a Adapter that we call ATM1 that will make it possible for people connect DKF X-pipe with OEM Section 1 and Also make possible to connect ST2S, BP2S and CTS300 to DKF X-pipe for anyone that upgrade later to our section 2 DKF X-pipe and had previously purchased the Area 2 Bypass to fit their old section 2 OEM X-pipe. Section 2 DKF X-pipe what we call SEC2X Mufflers: 1) Street Version what we call BPS4000 2) Sport Version what we call STXL 3) Race Version what we call RASH1 Last edited by Diokaef; 03-07-2011 at 01:26 PM.. |

It will need a tune the same way any other aftermarket catless system will, With the cats in the bypass area you should be able to move your downstream O2 sensor to that area and it should not throw a light or need a tune. (but every car is different) |

The welds on the X-pipe above are not the type weld that will be used on the final product, this was one of the tested proto-types.

Sorry the only small video that I got with my Iphone the car had different tips on the mufflers, no ceramic coating and no vector resonance tabs so it does not represent the full uniqueness of the sound produced by our system.
I will definitely make a HD video once I get the system finally produced the way it will be for market release, at this moment this would only represent extra unnecessary costs. |

I designed a vector resonance system with tabs so I could get the drone out of the range of 19K rpm meaning unless our cars can rev that high we will not have drone.

The production is scheduled to start in two weeks but I will still go to Socal between the 10 and 14 and back to Socal before end of the month. then fly to Arizona sometime in April to get all finished.
after it's finished I just need to get the Dyno, Videos and Pictures of the final product that will go on the market. You guys will keep getting exclusive updates of the system before hand tho. |

Dio, it looks like the M exhaust project is proceeding well. For us non-M drivers, any estimate on timeline for an axle back and/or full system? Very interested in an axle back product.

Its being over 1 year on this project and we gone thru many bumps to get where we currently are, so the only hope that we have about this system now, that still a big ???? mark is if we will be able to recoup our investment in the next 3 years or 5 years. it costed 3-4x more then we wanted it to cost us, enough to buy over 10 full SS V2 setups, everything was considered in the R&D, test and development of this system and nothing was sacrificed, we took in consideration many aspects of the engine and of the car in general, we consulted with more then one race team and if we take the people involved on this and their time on this business we would easily go over 300 years, we tried to listen to every single opinion and we carefully studied them in order to achieve the best synchronism and balance between engine, car, and driver. Tomorrow 03/10 I will arrive in CA, I should be free for the most part of the day if somebody would like to meet. Monday I have to take care of the prints for our header to sec 1 (S-pipe) Studs/nuts/(secret ingredient)/Headers Flanges Hardware so keep watching for good news next week.
Here is a picture of the studs that we are going to use to attach the S-pipe to the Headers specially designed for our application. |

It appears we are not going to be very far from the prices we coated in post# 156 what is great news, however we added more options from what we previously posted on post# 156
So that allows for 14+ configurations to get the sound or performance that you may be looking for. |
