It's an electronic cut out that installs somewhere forward of the cans. Still not quite like running wide open because there are still cats ahead of it but it cuts out the mufflers. RPIs are basically the same - that tiny resonator they have doesn't do much.
In the vid, with it open it sounds pretty much just like the Z4M and E46 M3s in Grand Am....nice but not exactly stealthy on the highway.

just checked prices and theyre selling a full system. it goes for around 2k euros.
i think im just better off with rpi, and then possibly retrofitting a butterfly valve in the future if it gets too loud for my neighborhood. |
