Remember ESS tunes a conservative non water/meth tune. They provide their numbers based on 91 octane as well. With 93 octane and stock U.S headers I don't think 420 whp will be a problem for VT2. With Euro spec headers it will be slightly better. ESS also uses a Vortech V3 blower which is capable of 775hp, so the workload isn't even close to some kits out there that damn near over spin to make similar numbers with water/meth and hot belts. These guys no their shit!... simple as that. If one chooses to go beyond their recommendations with a different pulley/belt and water/meth then way more is possible like other kits..... but, at your own risk. I like ESS because they actually take a balanced approach to forced induction. Cheers |

i would imagine, alot more....but.... the v3si really is silent. it does make a lovely low speed whistle though, you can hear a muted blowoff sound at higher revs, so im thinking you with your stock exhaust should be getting some nice noises from up front, i would definatly advise an exhaust upgrade!! you'll definatly make more power now your f/i. remember your squeezing in much more air, you need to get it out faster ;-)

If i drooled any more, i'd be swimming. that is just simply AMAZING. I love turbo/SC whine. I love S/C more b/c there's not that PFF from the blow-off valve.

I bet this would be a very tight race with E9x at 550bhp and Z4m vt2 at maybe 525bhp....but the weight difference would make it very interesting oh yea, this is a must do video. Roman, try to find a really fat guy to drive the E9x and a little race gas in mine

I can't wait to have this on mine, I'm very sure will match my custom exhaust system, my eismann mufflers, Racing wheels, AA headers, Coilover suspension, and others... |

I know but I'm very far from them, and I plan on getting the car there to be done, so driving or shipping it twice would not be very wise.

roman, just wondering....... do you think these kits would benefit an oil catch tank?? or do you feel them not necessary? i did read a write up from HPF, they say ANY boosted s54 should run a catch tank. maybe ESS could develop something?
