I actually just saw a set of the real CSL wheels on a M Coupe, wow it was quite nice. They looked a little bit different from those pictures, they were more of a regular silver and something about them looked professional like the OEM wheels. Really is an excellent combination and I wouldnt be surprised if BMW offers them as a standard option soon.

The problem with CSLs are all the rep wheels out there....
Kind of over done. Very nice wheel though.

I'm considering a change... but having a hard time with it
- weight reduction will play a big part in the decision for me. The OEM (ZCP) CSLs are lighter than the reps. *but* the ZCP CSLs are only 8" fronts dunno what I'll do.....

The question really should be about whether or not you like the wheels that come with the car. I love them. Do you really need to save 5 pounds on the wheels? I doubt it, but if you want new wheels then get em, but if you like what you got, keep your money and your wheels.

It makes a huge difference to handling acceleration and braking. I know 5lbs doesn't sound like much, but once you've experienced it you see what the fuss is all about. I'm looking at light weight forged rims (19") that weigh 21(fr) & 22(rr) lbs. Couple that with lighter tires like PS2s.... I'm looking at shaving 34lbs(min) of rotational unsprung mass. It pays huge performance dividends. Weight & strength are the key factors for me in wheel selection. JM2C, but isn't that what the M series is about..... performance? I know that's why I bought mine.
