Finally took some decent pictures, after a good cleaning!
Unfortunately, I drive this every day and here we are a week later where the ice and sanded bridges ruined everything. |

Guess #
According to Dupont color stats red cars make up between 10 and 14 percent of all cars painted. That means my 2006 Imola red is one of 38-50 on earth!
So for all red - do the math - 10% -14% is not a lot and they aint making any more !! http://www2.dupont.com/Automotive/en...6_brochure.pdf |

You really should paint your rear plate frame or pick up the already painted one from Bimmian. The color-matched frame really makes the back end flow nicely... (I posted a pic of mine in the ass-end thread)

Don't drive anywhere near West 7th street, or you'll get covered with all the construction dust. I get Ruby hand-washed about every other week at the Cityview Carwash on Bryant Irvin (formerly called University Carwash). There's a mobile guy (has trailer with his own spot-free water supply, power, etc) who stops by to do a 5-series in my neighborhood...He does an outstanding job for cheaper than my hand washes at Cityview, but I've lost his card

I try to take pics at opportune times, and clean the car in anticipation of those opportune times as well. Honestly, I find this area of the US is relatively clean-ish and not really dusty/messy enough to wreak havoc the day after the car is washed. As for IB vs. IR... ya can't go wrong with either!!! I just wish my red was more metallic vs. solid. |

It's funny, One doesn't realize how dark our reds are until they're sitting next to a Guards Red Porsche. Our red is like the color of oxygenated blood.
