I'd like to see Verstappen race Carson "the hurricane" Kocevar...they both seem to love the "I pass or we crash" approach.

Normally that would trigger my F1 withdraw response but now the only thing I can feel is a hope the FIA and teams put the racing back in this formula E on steroids by Miami. I also want my $14.00 bucks a month back from Apple.

You left Kimi Räikkönen out. I was really hoping either he or Montoya would do well but they beat the hell out of both of them knowing they would be gone next weekend and no revenge

would be served up.

FP1 in 90 minutes, and we already have 4 interesting developments:

- Tweak to max energy harvesting limit during quali (only) from 9MJ to 8MJ. Speeds will be lower but, with less energy recovery required, there's a suggestion cars could have an extra 4 seconds per lap without needing to engage super clipping.
- Norris lost 1 out of his 3 batteries allotted for all of 2026. Unclear how many AM has lost, as Radio Shack (aka Honda) refused to comment.
- Verstappen ran up his douche-points during media session by going after a journalist who asked him a sneaky question last year.
- Mercedes slow-mo wing opening was deemed a "miscalculation", and will not be seen again. With no penalties.
