Kathryn Bigelow fan?
Other than Strange Days (which isn't a stupendous film, but more a culty fav), I think her films are unwatchable lol.

I couldn't pick her out in a crowd, and I *think* I've seen one or two of her films?

But, if you've got three Oscars on the mantle..... you've probably got a fair bit of talent in your craft.

Really liked Hurt Locker; Zero Dark Thirty was okay...

I've read some really bad reviews of House of Dynamite - don't have high hopes...we'll see...

Killing Them Softly with Brad Pitt, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta.

Crime flick. Crooks taking care of their own. It’s good. My complaint was, it feels like I’ve seen these actors playing these characters before. Gandolfini, feels like he is doing a version of Tony Soprano, Ray Liotta reprising his role from Goodfellas. But, actors and performances are good.

Trailer has clips from most of the best parts. To me that kind of ruins the surprises, and the movie is slower and chattier, but if you like trailer you’ll probably like the movie.

Saw it and liked it. Agree with you on the trailer, sometimes they reveal too much.

I watched the documentary on Naito Engineering on AppleTV, I spent seven months in Japan between Tokyo and Osaka and loved every minute of it.
