2004 Z4 3.0i with M sports suspension updating question

Hi! I live in Europe, and I have a 2004 Z4 3.0i, factory fitted with M suspension. A Bilstein B4 shock absorber was fitted at the front by the previous owner, the rear may still have the factory shock. I checked Bilstein's site, it seems to me that the B4 is not even suitable for cars with M suspension, the B8 is for these. Unfortunately, both the factory and Bilstein B8 shocks are very expensive, I can almost buy a complete height adjustable MTS tech suspension for the price of 1. Since I use the car exclusively on public roads, I don't really need a high-end suspension. In your opinion, can I use the MTS suspension kit instead of the factory suspension components?

Thanks for help!

If the cost is your only concern that a Z4 might not be right for you. Get the right shocks and enjoy the car.

Thanks for your constructive response.

I don't want to buy a part assembled in a Chinese shed, but a product from a European company that has been on the market for several years, with a street licence and a 2-year guarantee. I could afford a more expensive suspension, but they are usually not street legal and not necessarily designed for street use.

The B8 is the correct choice, Buy once, Cry once as the saying goes.
