As my plastic coating was scratching off I disassembled the trim parts...used rubbing alcohol to remove the remaining coating (down to bare plastic)...and then sprayed them with SEM Products 15243 Satin Black Color Coat. Looks great! Almost, but not quite OEM look.

Is this the steering wheel leather cover or the plastic trims you're asking about?

If you want professional results, do the following:
  • Trim Plastic Pieces: Reach out to fellow forum member Texaz3. He has a great process for repainting them for a 100% match of the original color and sheen, but much more durable. He repainted a bunch of pieces for me and I couldn't be happier.
  • Leather Wrap: Check out either https://cobywheel.com or https://www.redlinegoods.com. Coby redid my F10 steering wheel and it came out awesome.

Looks great - How did you end up refinishing it?

Thanks it was kinda easy, all I did was pull all the trim off and sand them, then I went to autozone and bought a special plasti dip (https://www.autozone.com/paint-and-b...&gclsrc=aw.ds) make sure you allow the plasti dip to warm up by putting it in hot water and when you spray make sure it’s thick or else you’ll get bad orange peel (when you spray it thick it will look glossy but also smooth that’s how you know you are spraying right). That’s pretty much it sanding was the most annoying part lol. But I liked how it came out also don’t fret if you get orange peel just peel it off and start again!!
