titanium tips? if its just for looks, ebay for the tips, go to a good exhaust shop and see if they can alter your stock muffler if not, they might have a cheap uni muffler that they can mock up for you

I like the matte aluminum on the new 3 series I have seen.
Can they be retrofitted to Z4 M Coupe? I don't want new exhaust system but better looking tips would be nice... The ones we have are so thin in diameter on the tips..my MINI Cooper S had better looking tips. |

I couldn't be too hard to get some titanium tips made to slip over the tips on the stock exhaust. Much cheaper, same look. Just need a good exhaust fabricator. Hell, if the look is so popular I can ask BMS's exhaust maker if he can make BMS exhaust with titanium tips. He works with it often enough.

Please ask.
I looked and did not notice easy way to get stock tips off. I would like option to change just the tips. There are some options on eBay but not sure if these will fit well. Prefer model specific option. |

i heard that titanium is hard to weld to other metals... so if you were to just put titanium tips on your stock muffler i believe they will have to bolt/screw them on...

-That is correct. I'm currently in discussion with our exhaust guy about tip options for both finished and built-to-order exhausts...
