xDrive40 is MIA. It did exist but may have fallen victim to some kind of last moment business decision. The US version is the most likely one to have been cancelled or delayed.

Thanks. I can see it launching for MY24 at this point. i4 lineup would then look very similar to the 4-series grand coupe lineup (RWD, AWD, M performance model)

No. All I see besides the known models is the refresh of the three mass production G82s that will start production in 03/24.

ynguldyn Any idea why the laserlight option (5AZ) does not appear on the US pricing list for the 2023 M550? It's a 5 series option overseas.

5AZ has never been available in US market for the G30. In MY21 BMW also removed soft close doors as an option in US market. Why? No idea, but in today's world one could point to supply chain issues?

Start of communication is early October. There won't be a pre-order process for this car (like the iX or i7).

It’s supposed to go in production March 2023 so reveal probably by end of January. You would think with the xDrive, M3 CS will be a fast car.

For G26 gas models, will the March ‘23 update be the addition of iDrive 8 (curved screens)? Any idea when those would arrive in the US and if they would end up being a MY24 car?

Yes, that's the iDrive 8 update. Add 2 months for shipping.

With the reveal of the M4 EV test vehicle, are there plans to offer a G8x derivative BEV before the introduction of the NK0/1?
