Sirius/XM option code for E85/86?
Sirius/XM was an option for the LCI E85/E86's, but I can't find the option code.
Is it part of the 677A Professional radio option? Or maybe its part of the Navigation option? TY JohnM |

Pretty sure it was neither of those, would have had its own separate option code.
When I first acquired my present coupe in 2018, I considered finding and adding the ancient SXM (or Sirius as it was back then, pre-merger) module to my car, as I live in the sticks and really listen to SXM a LOT in my daily driver, and love it. But the part is hideously expensive, and it's now woefully out of date. Instead I opted to just stream it out of my iPhone, at the highest of 3 bitrate settings (FAR superior to the satellite stream), via a lightning-to-aux coiled cable. While somewhat clumsy to handle vs an integrated solution, it performs far better.

TY for the response.
I found a 2008 E86 3.0si ordering guide, and it doesn't list S/XM as a specific option. I'm thinking that S/XM was part of the 609 Nav option. Thanks for the suggestion about alternate ways to play S/XM. |

Definitely not part of the Nav option. I had two E86's with S/XM and no nav.
Here's a full list for E90's. Several of them look the same as the codes on my Z4. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=717103 |
