Discount Tire (Direct), hahahaha. It's only based on 9 reviews, which considering how long this tire has been in production, tells me that most people tend to purchase cheapo tires from them.

Good pricing and free shipping, plus the replacement certificates keep me purchasing from them. Definitely don't get them mounted/balanced by them, though, lmao.

Upgraded my Directed Smart Start module for my remote start system, since they were nice enough to offer a massive discount on it for current customers. Old system was based on 3G cellular service, and was definitely reaching the end of it's usefulness. New system runs off of LTE, and is almost instantaneous.

I was concerned their customer service would give me a hard time about installing the module myself, since their policy technically requires everything to be installed by an authorized dealer, but surprisingly they activated it with no questions asked!

Finally got a break from April showers so hit my calipers with some high temp caliper paint. Ironically I pieced together this kit a while back but sold to a buddy thinking I could use the funds for a busy track schedule. Well that doesn't look like its happening anymore so scooped up another 996 kit. Will probably throw these on in a week or two along with my TMS pulley kit =)

That surprisingly looks rather decent. I've seen those mats advertised quite a bit recently, but was always skeptical. Might have to add them to the list. Thanks for posting the video!

No_Dominion_2 -- out of curiosity - where do you get mounting and balancing done? I have had some terrible experiences and some surprisingly good ones at various shops. My opinion is that the quality depends on the local shop/personnel more than anything.

Spoiler mounts dont even look installed. Looks like a test fit if anything.

I used to only get them mounted at a local Lotus dealer, since they were about the only place around that would do road-force balancing without wanting to charge ridiculous prices. But within the last couple of years a new, semi-local chain called Belle Tire started popping up around Indianapolis, and they do road-force balancing for even less, and with just as high quality results.

eventuri

Had this intake installed last week, extremely pleased with the result.

Always thought that the engine noise from the s54 in the z4m was sort of underwhelming especially compared to the exhaust rasp of the e46 M3.

New sound is great, slightly better throttle response as well, highly recommended.

Eventuri definitely improves the sound, especially above 4k RPM. Do keep an eye on the mount point where the Eventuri connects to the chassis (bottom of the heat shield). I had metal fatigue on that area after 2 years and had to get a replacement part. Customer service is top notch.

G-Power Supercharger

Fresh from ASA in Deutschland, just received a new supercharger. Quite a few parts involved in the installation, but the quality appears to be excellent!!
