Thanks for posting; I enjoyed viewing it.
It's all a matter of perspective of course, but I can't see the grand GT nature of the Z4M coupe...it certainly is not my choice for long journeys. Now, about that "phallic hood"...

Nicely shot accurate review. I also find it too stiff for travelling too far so would not call this car a grand tourer by any means( at least on the roads up here.) As well he notes some 1815 cars were "brought over". The engines and trannys came from Germany but assembly took place in Spartanburg South Carolina.

Excellent review.
Spiked my interest. Found one bought it. Took possession today. 2007 Z4 M Coupe, 54000kms, Interlagos Blue. Mint condition. Alongside MY 2003 911 996 C2 MANUAL, 1990 Audi quattro 20V (ur quattro), AND 1996 Honda Integra Type R, JDM DC2 Great fit with those cars, all modern performance classics. That's awesome. You should definitely leave a comment at the YouTube review and let the guy know that his review was what drove you to buy one. No doubt he'd be tickled.

Drive 911 often, ITR and ur quattro less so. Our climate in NZ is temperate and kind to cars, and we don't have salt on our roads. |

I was confused by the Montana tags in what looked to me like Northeast US roads. Some registration magic going on there I suspect!

By calling this car poor man's Aston Martin, this guy sounds like a Loser lacking confidence. If he gets Aston Martin...it will still be some poor man's car.
Enjoy ur car as if the best car in the world.... no matter what. |

I don't take it as a negative connotation. I believed he's just paying a backhand compliment to the MC in a somewhat humble way - just like someone who is well off saying they're poor.

Oh my! Why so serious?! He is just fooling around. If you watch his other videos you'll see that he does it from time to time. And it makes his videos much more enjoyable comparing to those "serious" guys on youtube.

Not sure if I woukd compare the mz4 to an Aston, actually pretty silly comparing the cars as one is a v8, and about 400kgs heavier. Drives and handels absolutly nothing like the Z4.

Before I mostly heard (and I think on this forum) that "Z4MC is a poor man's GT3" Also, speaking of reliability, Z4MC is like Toyota Corolla comparing to Aston |
