2007 Z4 M Coupe 18590mi
Selling my 2007 BMW Z4 M Coupe. This car is in superb condition, never crashed, never repainted, never off track. This car was ordered and built to be a street legal track toy, however it only made about 10 track laps at a slow pace and the rest were street miles. At 18,590 miles, this is the proverbial "barn find" of Z4 M Coupes - purpose built but mostly kept in storage. I am selling due to a back issue which has kept me from enjoying or even driving the car. The window sticker (included with car) shows $52,720, and I have over $27,000 of invoices for additions and labor/tuning performed on this car by a professional race shop. Location: St Charles, IL Mileage: Only 18590 History: I'm second owner of the car, my dad was the first. It is in amazing condition. Obviously no accidents or paintwork. Driven very carefully (for my back's sake). Exterior: 9.8/10, see photos. There is a small rock chip on the nose that I spotted while washing it for these photos. Interior: 9.8/10. Just amazing - it still has some new car smell in it. Wheels/Tires 7/10. The 19" HRE Competition are excellent but they don't look as shiny as I would like. No known damage or bends, I don't think the car has ever hit a pothole. I believe the tires are fine with plenty of tread, but they are several years old. I personally would street drive them but if I were going to track the car I would replace them. Engine/Suspension/Brakes 10/10, Fall-Line Motorsports knows these cars well, they modified and tuned this car. It is quick and it handles like it is on rails, stops on a dime, and is as close to perfect as I can imagine. Additional Modifications incl labor/tuning: 4.10 diff $3200 HRE competition wheels $6000 Brembo M3 15" monoblock drilled front $4450 Brembo Z4 13.6" drilled rear $2950 Moton Club Sport Z4M +monoball+springs+fab+align/corner balance/tune $6750 Dinan throttle body $2000 Dinan strut brace + stg 2 brace $800 Sway bars $1000 asking Price: $38,000 For any inquiries, please email Not parting out, not trading, under 18 must be accompanied by guardian -Brent, Owner. Great spec and proper modifications. Are you the original owner and any records of recent maintenance?

Second owner - this car was originally titled to my dad, he didn't drive it much either.
Regarding recent maintenance, it has only moved a handful of times in the past couple years. It would come out, get an oil change, get driven for a week to set the OBD codes, get an emissions test then go back in my garage under a cover. I took it out around 4 weeks ago for the first time since 2016 and put a new battery in it since the old one was dead. I took it straight to a BMW dealership in Schaumburg, IL for an oil change, and parked it again - that receipt should be easy to find, others will probably be in the dealership computers or on record at Fall-Line. It is an amazing car - very dialed in and ready to drive - all I have done the past few years is putt around at or below the speed limit to keep it maintained. |

Man, so tempting given I am so close! Just curious, would you sell for less without the HRE's and/or the dinan brace?

I can’t pull it apart for two reasons. First it is so dialed in I’m pretty sure undoing it would be a deadly sin. The other reason being I don’t think the stock wheels even fit over these brakes.
* also look close at the underhood photo - they fabricated the remote reservoirs mounts onto the strut brace Last edited by brentm3; 10-10-2018 at 11:40 AM.. Reason: additional info |

No cruise control.
I can include the front & rear shock parts that I have if desired. I have p/n 7838643, 783864502, 783868something, 7838645, & whatever else Fall-Line returned to me in that box. Sorry I can't do better than that, I just had a surgery and the box is on a shelf in my garage so I can't lift it down - I stuck a camera up there to take pix of those tags. |
