Business CD/Bluetooth - phone dials last number?
I'm not only new to BMWs but also (relatively) new to in-car phone connectivity and all of the joys that come with it.
I synced my iPhone to my Z4 via bluetooth, and to test it out I pressed the button on the steering and called a number. Now every time I press the button it immediately dials that number! Is it me, the phone, the car, some combination? Inbound calls work fine by the way. |

I found the same.
I tried to push the talking head button to hang up, but the other person hung up a split second sooner and it called them right back. I still don't know how to hang up. If you want to call a specific number, the R/T button pulls up the address book.

I use a third party phone interface, so don't have any experience with the factory unit - but looking at this BMW Bluetooth manual it appears that pressing the 'talking head' button momentarily will cause it to redial, and pressing and holding it will allow you place a new call. Or you can place a call by using the R/T button to access the directory, as mentioned.

Thanks! I have a paper copy of the instructions but couldn't find my digital copy. Sounds like its time for me to investigate the R/T button.
