Evolve Carbon Airbox for Z4M
Hi Guys
We have not offered a group buy on our air box since we started making it but as we recently invested in another mould we have some increased production capacity and thought we would break it in with the first group buy since 2011. We have also listened to feedback from the community who also wish to be able to purchase the air box on its own for as they already have tuning or are running a CSL DME/Map conversion. The usual prices are as follows: Airbox only (includes filter) $3200 Fully fitted package including Airbox, Filter, IAT relocation Kit, all necessary CSL hardware, Evolve Alpha N ECU Remap $4400 The Group Buy The group buy price would be: Airbox only (includes filter, silicon hoses and jubilee clips) $2300 BMW parts to fit (Air valve, Breather Hose, Bolts, Wiring Holder) $160 IAT Relocation kit $99 Full package including Airbox, Filter, IAT relocation Kit, all necessary BMW hardware, Evolve-R Alpha N ECU Remap $3400 Please note we will not be taking orders for the full package until we have confirmed that we have resolved the heal and toe issue. This GB is mainly set up for people who just want the box for now. Shipping to the US is $200. Shipping available world wide. If inside the EU you have to pay the VAT and in GBP. We require a 50% deposit and the remainder when the boxes are ready to ship. The first batch of 5 of will be ready in around 8 weeks as we have already have a GB running in the UK that needs to be fulfilled. Each batch of 5 after that will take 4-5 weeks. 1. itdnwiwbp - Full Package pending tune fix 2. OptionlessM - TBC 3. Royroy - Airbox, BMW Parts, IAT, Tune Upgrade 4. NWMCoupe 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. ^ Also interested in knowing about the duration of the GB.
Is this a rolling GB in 5 order increments or is this a one time run? |

Can you give an estimated confidence/timeline on getting a functional alpha n tune? Will it still pass plug in OBD emissions? My E46 M3 with alpha n had no emissions issues.

I am interested but have some compatibility questions, I also run your tune currently. Please PM me so we can discuss further.
Thanks, Ash

I was planning to order this intake, but I was waiting to hear back from Evolve on the forum. Now it's the last day, and we don't know the state of the tune.
I'm more interested in confirming that all the emissions indicators will show "ready" for an OBD test. Did anyone hear back on the emissions questions? If some of you messaged with Evolve privately, would you mind pasting what you learned into this thread? Also, while I'm posting... I am primarily interested in performance gains with this intake. I already have the Evolve tune and RPI intake kit (scoop + filter). I'm wondering how much increase in midrange and top end I would see beyond my current mods. Since this is a small community, no one may have the answer, but I thought I would ask anyway. Note that I also have SuperSprint V1 stepped headers and section 1 (which I bought from Evolve in a previous group buy). |
