Front M vs Non-M
The front suspension of the M and non-M are essentially the same aren't they? Based on the e46? So any wheel fitment used on an M would work for a non-M, right? I'm trying to decide proper wheel offsets and don't want rubbing for 18s. Car will be on Coilovers. So, I'm thinking the 235/40-18 8.5 et 35. Seems like the safest yet still aggressive option.

Interesting to see the Z4 and Z4M have differed OE tire profiles. Non-M is 225/40 & 255/35 while M is 225/45 & 255/40.

That's exactly where it was rubbing, where fender and bumper meet.

@sdcoupe - How low do you plan on dropping the car? ^^^ This is where I had some rubbing issues as well but your desired ride height is going to have an effect on things as well.

The front suspension is very different between the m and non m...the m uses e36 bottom mounts, the non m uses e46 mounts...for clearance purposes they won't be drastically different though

I just had mounted 235/40-18 front on new Apex PS-7 8.5' rims with Michelin Pilot Super Sports with 35 offset. No rubbing! Rears are 265/35-18 on a 9.5' rim with 43 offset. Again, no rubbing! Very stoked. It looks great. Need to put the coilover suspension on now and remove the fender gap.
