Custom made front splitter
Hi guys I'm making a custom front air dam splitter, I'm using aluminum, i think it's going to be 3 inches away from the front bumper. So i want to know if there's going to be a lot of downforce on the front when i'm going fast. The fastest i go is around 130mph on the street, and i am not thinking of buying a rear wing.
Can the car lose control at high speeds?

Yes it can lose control but only if you don't have enough downforce preventing you from lifting off. Hence I highly suggest getting a big wing on the rear. |

I been 160-165 I'm streets with no wing or splitter on my z4mr feels very stable. But i guess putting down force in the front and not in the back can change that.

I second the vote for a wing... ...A MASSIVE wing. |

I'm thinking APR GTC-500. 70 inches of pure Keep-You-On-The-Road. Probably the only true safe bet.

Do you think a roadster will look good with the massive wing like the APR they put on the coupe. I actually have never seem one yet in a Roadster. You are most likely right.

You'll be fine at 130mph. I don't use a splitter but the car (at least the coupe) feels very stable at 158mph (somewhere in Mexico on a closed course) so I doubt a splitter would make your car unstable at only 130mph.
