Nav screen didn't come on this morning?
When i started my car the first time this morning it worked fine.. Drove to starbucks to get some coffee and when i returned to the car afterwards and started it, the screen flipped up but did't turn on. Radio was still functioning, etc.
i hit the button to flip it down and raise it back up and it still didn't come on. hit the button again and left it down for a few minutes and when i flipped it up again it came back on. anyway, i'm genuinely scared i've got some electrical gremlin in my car... i still have a CPO warrenty, but my factory warrently expired in august, so would this be something that i'm covered for? has anyone else had experience with this or heard of it? any help would be great! |

This just happened to me about a week ago. I took my car in to the dealer and left 3 days later with a new NAV computer. Accord to my SA it's a $2,400 part but ended up being free since the car is still under warranty. Thank god!
edit: I got a new NAV DVD with it too (free)!!! |

nope...
it clearly states that it is something that is not covered... something about Radio/CD Player/Changer/Navigation... thank God it hasn't happened again. *knock on wood* |
