I paid about 1600€ for the seats. Normally they cost 3200€! Once BMW had a inofficial part number for theses seats. They were intended especially for BMW dealers who wanted to "pimp" their showrooms. So BMW Munich sold them under the purchase price. I went to my local BMW dealer and ordered the seats by just giving him the "mysterious inofficial part number", so he didn't know he will order seats which are not meant for end customers. At first BMW Munich refused to sell the seats to me but after argueing a litte bit they delivered them finally
My local dealer said afterwards that i have been the last customer how was allowed to order the seats. After dilivery BMW decided to take the special number out of the parts catalog. The rims are originally from a BMW M3 CSL. The size is 8,5x19 and 9,5x19. The exhaust system (headers and 200 cell cats) is from www.schmiedmann.de The so calles High Flow Kit for the E46 with M54 engines. But it won't fit "plug and play". The cats touch the body and the gear mounting. The silcener is handmade by www.stueber-auspuffanlagen.de The dash and the steering wheel is only wrapped with carbon fiber foil, so no real cf. |
