Feel free to send inquiry messages! Thanks, Marvin Last edited by IYIarv; 02-23-2015 at 11:18 AM.. |

Background Info:
- Completely stock, no mods - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S installed at approximately 12,500 miles and now one year old - Dealer installed protectant clear film installed on both bumpers, side views, and hood to protect from road damage - Inspection 1 performed last month at BMW. This included all fluids and filters (brake, coolant, power steering, oil, etc) - New OEM battery installed at 13,000 miles and now one year old - New steering wheel and steering wheel controls installed at 12,500 miles due to blemishes on the controls - New M floor mats I am still working on pictures since she needs a good cleaning and its hard to keep a clear clean this time of year. I attached a couple of quick ones from yesterday even though she is unwashed. Real pictures to come. Last edited by IYIarv; 11-11-2013 at 06:53 PM.. |

Gave her a quick wash this afternoon and took some fresh pictures. I apologize for the quality of the pictures as they are with my only camera (my iphone). I always forget how great this paint color is! Even when the car is in need of a wash it is really not that obvious!

I also have four custom jack adapters that I made to lift the car up when needed using the BMW jack points!

This is like the unmolested version of my car. sigh, I remember when mine looked like that
Would you be interested in selling those pucks? or make me another set! Good luck selling her, at this price it is a steal!

Thanks for the response. I drew the "pucks" up in CAD and had them fab'd custom so they were a little pricey. I wouldn't want to sell them in case I ended up keeping the car. Thanks for the interest though!

are the drawings something that can be shared with the community? I might be able to source a C&C shop to fab them

Why is yours molested? OP has a fine example of a well kept stock car!

I wouldn't mind sharing the CAD file if there is actually enough interest. Honestly mine are just a fancy version. I just made myself a set because I have the ability to. It would be much cheaper to just part some bar stock and mill the rectangular extrusion and hole on the other side. I've never googled but i'd be shocked if this doesn't already exist.

I used to baby the car and give her a hand wash every other weekend but as life changes so do priorities. This summer I ended up putting barely 500 miles/ over 10 days or so of driving.

I appreciate the offer, but realistically it will probably take me about 15-20 minutes per jackpad to crank these out. Doing 2 will be fun, making 4 will start to get annoying while 8 (4 for you and 4 for me) would seem a bit too much like work. That's the problem with old manual machines rather than CNC - building each unit takes as much time as the first. Fine for prototyping, but utterly killed by CNC for production work. FWIW I'm pretty sure Ron Stygar over on Bimmerfest used to produce something like these. I'd try sending him a PM over there and see if he still has some in stock. If he's done a full production run I'm sure that'd be cheaper than my time making them one by one. |

Decided to wait till after the holidays to put it on autotrader. Is prefer a forum guy regardless. Btw, I'm willing to go down $500 to $32k if I don't include jack adapters. I've been getting offers but would like car to go first.
