Any info on why this car looks different?
Hello,
Came across this photo online but had no luck getting any info on it. Does anyone know why the face of this car is different? Is it a body kit or photoshopped? Thanks |

Boser hoods are a common thing that mkiv jettas and golfs get done to cover the headlights...never thought I'd see something similar on the z...IMO looks bad a$$

There is a lot more than a modded fender on this car. Looks like there is also a Hamann front bumper cover with Varis splitters molded in... along with some other customization. See the middle of my bumper on my sig is the same as the one you're asking about. That's the Hamann portion.
The varis splitters molded in are these: I don't know this as fact or if it's photochopped. I've just stared at a lot of bumpers for the Z4m so that's what it looks like to me.

One thing I never liked on the Z4 was the straight continuous line from wheel arch to wheel arch over the headlights and front bumper. I love the way this looks, I want it. Who can make it?

I had the hood molded on my jetta years ago and I'd imagine that it would be the same pain staking process to customize the fenders, very time consuming and to have it done at a shop would most likely come with a hefty price tag

Well, I have been searching lots but still have not found more info. Guess this must be a one of a kind.
I did find another photo of the boser look with probably vinyl stickers but it doesn't look nearly as good imo... |

This looks much better as an actual body part. I'm wondering however how it would look if the extension came off of the front bumper instead of the fender. It would still leave that ugly line from wheel arch to wheel arch, but im just curious

I don't know how that would work off the front bumper...seeing as metal would be welded to metal then shaped and curved and knocked on the fenders. I don't see how you could apply same process to bumper
