Supersprint Exhaust
Hi all,
May be a duh question but I can't find the answer on any of the store's websites... When you buy the SuperSprint exhaust from someone like mod*****ns, for the $1,850 they charge, are you just getting the two mufflers and tips? Is there anything else included? The reason why I ask is that I am going to be in Italy in April and when I look on the supersprint website, it looks like I can get the two mufflers for 926euros (plus VAT which I may be able to get refunded) which comes out to around $1,200 which is a heck of a lot less. Just wondering if I am missing something here. Thx |

im pretty sure you have to buy both the left and right seperatly edit looking at the prices, yes it looks like ~1200 for a pair. unless you want the powerloops, then its considerable more. Last edited by dorifto88; 01-05-2013 at 10:29 AM.. |

It should be the same Mike.
The tips are part of the muffler (non removable) They are made to re-use the OE hangars. The thing I'd be sure to confirm is that the adapters are included, to mate up to the OE X-pipe. Maybe check the UK based Z4-forum for feed back.

If you're going the Supersprint route and the connectors aren't included I'd add the Eisenmann Sport or Race into consideration, since you'd be in the same price range. Here's a good comparison of many options if you haven't already seen/heard it.

How much do you think the connectors would cost if I had to buy them separate? |

I've seen them time to time for 2k. The size of the tips just makes them look mean. Sound great too. If connectors run about 100 that's pretty much the same price!

My memory is they came with the required adaptors/clamps. Bolted right on to the OE X-pipe.

Yeah, checked out the supersprint site again and it does show the connectors. So, if I can swing it without VAT when I am over, might be able to pick up both cans for $1200. I'd be pretty happy with that deal!

The lesser expensive one...think that's the sport. They just refer to them by p/n. Getting the mufflers, connectors, and X Pipe for 1222 euros...so under $1,600 Canadian. Plus no tax or duty when I bring it back!

Buying right from the factory and they are giving me a great discount. Believe it or not, we are in a cruise so I am picking it up, dragging it on the cruise ship, then flying the package home as my second piece (duffel bag).
They are not going to weld the right pipe on so it packs up straighter and I will have it welded here. My wife just shook her head... |

If all goes well seems like a good deal (lots of places for hassles to occur).
How big a bag does it take to get two pipes and two cans well packed and ready for a flight? Surprised you don't care whether they are the race or sport. |
