FS: TC Kline D/A's
Up for sale is a set of TC Kline D/As. Spring rates are 450/500. I also have an extra pair of 500's for the front I'm throwing in. I put about 20-25k miles onto the suspension. SOLD Few things to disclose: -I'm the 2nd owner. The 1st owner lives in Boston so the tubes look weathered. I've had no problems with the suspension and I'm selling only because I sold my car. -TCK D/A's make clunking noises up front. I hear it's because of the camber plates and it's completely normal. -Front is D/A and rear is S/A -Wrenches for height adjustment aren't included because previous owner lost them. They can be bought just about anywhere though. -I noticed some clumps of gunk, probably dust and oil, stuck to the RSM of one of the rear shocks. I never noticed any problems with dampening and the shock behaves fine while off the car. I've read that it's just a o-ring near the adjuster that is worn but it may need to be rebuilt soon.

Kinda feel like taking just the rear S/As to swap out my D/A rears.
My fronts don't make noise, but the rears have valve tick As a daily driver, it gets kind of annoying. I'm currently running like 550# fronts; 500# rears. Not the best combo I know, but I had a choice of 450# & 550# fronts as previous owner provided me two sets of front springs (and I figured I didn't want to go too soft up front). Overall, the ride is a bit stiff, even for a youngster But I can make do even more so if the rears didn't tick so much. Any interest in trading/parting out the rears only? Also, you mentioned they may need to be revalved? |

So I have 500# all around right now. Still the same ones I got from you And as time goes on, the rears started to develop ticking; moreso than I remember from when I first installed them. |
