Wow. Never did see this one. That is one complex project, but they seem to be approaching it right.

Sense is rarely a part of these equations/projects,lol.They are most always driven by rare combinations and WOW factor.
That....and unlimited budgets and time frames. Just a persons way of showcasing some skill sets and creativity. |

I'd take the s62/65 any day over the n54, and this swap has yet to be completed. Don't forget the e39 m5 v8 that was swapped into the pre-facelift roadster (before the M's were released)!

thats because its silly to take out a perfectly good high performance motor and replace it. Plus if you're gonna hack something up, the regular z4 is much cheaper and appropriate

Never heard a Viper on the street that didn't sound like a tractor. Actually driving one allows you to discount that aspect quite quickly, however, in considering engine swaps for anything other than an industrial pump, a Dodge v10 probably wouldn't even come to mind.

The old Vipers didn't have any crossover in their exhaust, so it sounded like two 5 cylinder engines.

Corsa makes universal mufflers, which can be used with a custom exhaust on my car. Won't be as throaty as a big block engine though
