Any one have one of these???
How does it attach? It says velcro. Does that require you to stick something gooey somewhere? Or does it just velcro to the carpet? If it velcros to the carpet, does it make little pulls in the nap screwing up your carpet when you pull it off? |

Are you planning to use that to keep a 2-way radio handy? I just use a boom headset with a separate PTT switch that I can clip to my shoulder harness (since VOX generally doesn't work worth squat). I throw the radio behind my seat and it stays put back there.

Looks to me like it probably clips into the seam between the carpet and the console. Similar to how ProClips mount between interior panels. But I could be wrong.

No Rosie, I don't need help installing it, I want to know if it is a piece of crap or not and if it will screw up my carpet.

Oh no! No one drives this car but me!!!!!!!! She is always a passenger in this car. I guess since the storage net is there and she doesn't use it that that is not convenient enough to easily reach the phone....

FWIW...
I use the normal leather belt clip pouch designed for my particular phone. (just found one I liked at one of those mall kiosks) I rotate the belt clip so that it clips ^up^ & clip it to the side of the center console where it meets the carpet. The only thing I did was cut off the flap that goes over the phone when used as a belt clip. Works great & the black leather matches the interior better.

Very Handy
This little pocket gadget has coarse velcro that you slide the leading edge up under the lip of the center consol so the consol puts preasure against it and if it were to damage the carpet, it would be up under the colsol so you would not see it anyway... I store my nano and my cell there... the displays for both can get really screwed up if left in direct sun light... I live in south florida...
